He was interested in the idea of you reading there so I'll send him a copy
I had already discussed a possible Shearsman event
Liverpool (45 mins by train from Manchester)
Neighbouring Bath (15 mins by train, several traffic jams in a car)
might be an option
When I find out more
I leave it to your judgement
You get 10 freebies, plus 20 copies to send out
I can supply you with a covering flyer for the latter

I think too that the first one is preferable, but I would not object to the other one
The standard package is as follows

A contract will follow
If any of this isn't clear
I'm happy to discuss timing
Official publication date is not the same as the date when the book is actually available,
printed and ready for distribution (or, indeed, sale)
Often have my titles are ready 2-3 months ahead of the publication date
To get review copies out in advance
