rocks / leaves
words make more
dark / scream life
into shore / rock
water
inarticulate a
light
sea-beached night
these are waysigns squat thoughts vanish
bearers ideas
that fall page-black
on swept stasis
dawn &
sky escapes
through
legs set adrift
in

dried blue
thinner time
fills silence
a hand turning rain smell
leaves cold
blocked / leaves
that
rock the tree
leaves wet
surface tracing &
shadows season
quiet cries sinking
hung when narrow
writing scatters them
inside cannot hear
its only leaves their songs
*
morning falls
sits
runs by
left before dark
later a pocket a wingbeat
grasses the wind
a bell turning
your poems
half remembered words glimpsed
passed to
white pages carried
songs sorrow closed
again
heard now
a sound
green silence
to tree a word
chosen
pressed between
words make more
dark / scream life
into shore / rock

inarticulate a
