A little more small encouragement. A respite. Absolutely beautiful day with pure blue skies. Afterwards, several of us retired. An exceedingly pleasant day. An extremely frustrating, dismal day. Another gloomy day. As is usual. Back from Norfolk this evening. Beautiful day. But the fish still don’t seem very happy. Completed sections of my Book. Cooked an Arabic stew (without aubergine, unavailable). Did a reading. Down in the dumps. Dreamt the fish-tank had been ruined. Found a growing puddle of water in front of it. Glorious day, mostly. Have been fascinated/horrified by events in the early hours of this morning. It was a delayed reaction. Items added to the Book. Major housework. Making excellent progress. Mars above the full moon in the eastern sky tonight. Mended the damaged wall socket. Mired in filing going back years. Mostly a really pleasant day in the sunshine. Out of nowhere … Out of the blue. Phew, finished. Phoned. Read selections from the Book. She is back home. Shocking news on the phone. Shopped at M&S. So it got its send-off last night. Some unaccustomed sunshine. Speaking of which. Spent a couple of hours. Summer soon arriving. Sunny, windy day. Take advantage of an interlude. That really is it. The country has been continually battered by storms. The country is in crisis. The credit card is overspent. The gourami have been named Bonnie & Clyde. The lights are darkened and put away. The proof copy arrived. The weather has turned cold. The wind returns. Those oddly pornographic white support stockings. Today went superbly well. Took advantage of a lull. Took her for a walk along the front. Trip to buy a small lemon tree for £30. Trying to relax. Van Morrison was excellent. Very good performances from everyone. Very straightforward journey. We don’t have the power. We were fortunate to find the place. Well, it was a real disappointment. Went out for a gravy meal.
